Default UK Road Tax

Gordon Brown, what are you doing to us!

The tax laws for driving a car in the UK changed today.

I don't know any longer how much I have got to pay.

I can't find the information anywhere on how much I have got to pay.

Six months tax on my 2.6 quattro cost me £93.50 last week, but as far as I can see, that is going to rise to something like £125.

That's the same as a 4.6 litre Range Rover.

I'm very, very angry at the moment. Has anyone got a better idea of what is going on with this change of the law?

The sandal wearing, tree hugging lentil brigade are bringing this on. I wouldn't mind, but if we had a decent public transport system, it would be somewhat bearable. We don't, and they leave the average worker NO alternative to taking their own car. Just a nice easy way to gfill the chancellors coffers.
