Air Force is a pretty cushy job too. I like milking off the Gov't. Plus I get several paid vacations to the Middle East a year!

 

I tried to switch over to the air force when re-enlistment came around. They told me unless I was an officer, forget about it. That really hurt my feelings.

You get several a year, we get one that lasts for a year. Sucks both ways!!

 

Nah two months over there is an easy rotation. A year at a time has got about make one go crazy. Why wouln't they take you? That's pretty damn stupid. I know the guard or reserve would take you if you'd ever consider that.

 

They told me it was because of the whole "Blue to Green" campaign. The army does not have enough people, and the air force and navy are over strength I guess. So they are trying to get air force and navy people to join the army. I figured that is what they would tell me, but I had to try anyway.
