As they say on Top Gear, the only reason to buy a Boxster, is because you can't afford a 911, so all you're really doing while driving around in a Boxster is advertising that your life hasn't gone quite as well as you'd hoped..... (funny)

Just lease a Cayman S and get it over with.

I love the Cayman S but I can't afford that either...remember the whole "simplifying my life" goal I was working on. I just got rid of my E55 and Ducati last week. Still kept the Vespa though!! Plus I don't like to lease cars, I don't know why.

If I don't end up trading it in for another car, maybe I will just buy a Nissan Frontier to haul around my bikes and stuff?

I think the 350Z wins that accolade hands down. Big, heavy, big NA motor, sounds great, handles like poop, everyone has one

ps: All your points on the RX8 are true YET I still want one. Mazda must put crack on their steering wheels for test drives?

 

its a great set up, love the looks and design but simply underpowered. Wonder if they is a way to get that to 300hp relaibly b/c then i would wnat one. PLus limited slip RWD is teh best set up in my opinion (if u dont luve in snow)

 

I'm with you apg. Apparently there are one's that are running 300 - 350hp + out there but how they got there and how reliable they are I don't know.

 

with a 7k greddy turbo kit it will be at 280 whp. just give me a s4 with that kind of money and ill be happy

 

What about something a little older that you can heavily mod, like a last generation Supra, or the last RX-7. I always liked the looks of the 300z, but I drove one and was less than impressed.

 

i'll give that it's an interesting little car, and i really like the styling myself. But from what i hear it isnt exactly speedy, but i've never been in one.

 

if you get it dont put synthetic oil in it or you'll be buying 2 engines and one new car.
