How AoA F'd me on my RS4 and will not last to tell about it

-T.S.- I'm sorry to hear all of that dude...some BS! I cannot believe all of the problems people (including myself at one point) are having with their RS4's. This a limited model super car and it shouldn't have a majority of the problems listed. I think the guy who posted on the other site made a good point about the 80 miles on yours @ arrival. I was saying WTF too when I noticed mine had 45! I'll bet some jacka** reved and raced it to soon and fu**ed up your engine-the 80 miles didn't just appear "poof" one day on the odometer.
-After driving around the city of ATL for 45 miles to see how far one would really have to venture to tack up the mileage...it was rediculous everywhere I drove in that span. Some places I even had to drive through twice to equal it out! That is one of the areas that I think are extremely shady with buying this car.
-They are not living up to the Lemon law probably b/c that part or parts have to break 5 times or more in a year for it to be covered. Still, dismantling your engine, on a brand new RS, more than once, is unacceptable and you should have been given a new one w/out question. If AOA has so much money and are so powerful, whats an 80k loss (eventhough their cronies would fix your current one and sell it for 50-60k b/c its used and pitch that the "previous owner wanted something else"...yeah right) so really they would only be out about 20k.
-Sounds like you are not going to get another and rightfully so. I was under the impression that Audi had a stellar record but after this and other problems I've heard, including my own, its not so stellar and really needs to be fixed/gonna take more than P.R-they need quality builders. Guess my whole "select team of ten" blah blah blah was just a figament of some Audis salesman's imagination.
-As I said in a post a while back, I'll bet the US is gettin the shi* end of the RS production or some are even Lemons from other countries they are putting on us? I know that is highly Illegal and hopefully isn't the case but my optimism is shrinking by the week. Damn, how will these situations affect my resale? SH*T!

-PS-if you are not getting another RS are you going to get the new M3, the R8 or what??? I am assuming you are done with Audi's after this?

Trev, go to the AW board for RS4 and just LOOK at how many asses have come out of the woodwork to rag on me for ranting about this incident. It is actually unbelievable how much contempt they have because I posted this. I do not understand how they all congregate on AW. I have always noticed that AudiForums had much nicer people on the boards.
In either case, I think all the publicity the threads are getting over there are not good for Audi, regardless of what is being said against me.

I have heard way more bad stories about the new RS than good ones. I would be pissed if I dropped that kind of cash down on a new car and had the problems that I have seen. That's why I never buy a car the year it comes out. They always have problems and then get fixed... most of the time... They already have your money, so what do they care?
Very true on the new car bit, very true. But, the RS will only be in production for maybe 2 years and at the rate its going probably one. So in terms of the RS4 I have to disagree. A car of this magnitude and price shouldn't have to go through a "test or dummie" process...damn thing should run like lightning no matter what! I will say mine is running great and still love it more and more everyday. If you would have told me this car would be in slumps like it is now anytime over the past 2 years I would have said you were nuts and to go enter a psych ward.

Back in '01 my dad purchased an S600 Benz w/ desingo interior, AMG wheels and AMG dual exhaust...badass! Anyhow, the damn thing was in the shop more times than I can count on both hands. The reason it wasn't a lemon was b/c everytime in the shop was for a diff problem or less than 3 a piece. I know it was in there for 4 weeks out of the first year and Mercedes wouldn't do shi*! Whats up with the German's? I liked the quality and power in his '97 S600 much better FYI. That thing was a beast plus it was a true Diamler/Benz...not Diamler/Chysler.
