Default Rs4 vs S4; Torque is close, but value isn't

Hi:

I am looking at a new RS4, and noticed the torque for a new S4 is 302 vs 317 for a RS4. The RS4 has a lot of other things going for it. If you are not going to be reving the enging past 6 or 7K RPM. The S4 performance should be close to the RS4 as far as engine and posibly Quatro drive.

In Puerto Rico the difference in price will be multiplied by 1.4 because of taxes: So the difference in price will be even greater.

In view of this price difference can anyone convince the RS4 is the one to buy, (other than exclusivity)

Thank you[&:]

but the overall reviews the RS4 is insane. the guy from Top Gear was about to change his pants.....and i quote "the best V8 engine EVER" on the RS4. redlineing at 8+grand. Dont get me wrong the S4 is a well built machine but the RS4 is a different animal
