I have a 2003 RS6 Avant (UK car) and have had 3 new Satnav plus sytems fitted by Audi under warranty. After a short period of time the units lock up and won't accept the code, sometimes going into safe mode. This often occurs after a short stop, say for fuel. Sometimes the system will accept the code and at other times, after 2 or 3 days the system will work again. The power feed to the unit has also been replaced. Has anyone had any similar problems - Audi are struggling to fix and I wondered if there was widespread problem with the A6 system.
Any help would be much appreciated. Dave.

 

well you need to trade me your rs6 for my a4, dude its a 3.0 and the audi symphony kicks ****! i'll throw in a garmin hand held for navigation as well.
