Hi everyone,

I need to transport my rs4 from Va to Ca and was wondering if anyone has shipped an rs4 before? if so, was it shipped using an open transport trailer or was it an enclosed trailer? I basically want to know if it's safe to go the open trailer route?

It all depends on the carrier, luck and the weather.

There are also services that will have someone drive it there, and don't forget about Railways. We had our cars transported from Phily to Miami by train, though it was back in 95'. It was enclosed and definitely safer than a highway. There may be an East-West service.

 

Try InterCity Lines. I've had success with them.
