Brand new to this forum so apologies if this has been asked somewhere else...

I had decided a month or so ago to get myself an S5 but then I started to wonder how much better the RS5 'might' be. Does anyone have anything concrete on what setup the RS5 is likely to have? 4.2 V8 450BHP?? or might they drop a V10 in there (doubt it myself)?

I would obviously much prefer an RS version but would like to know what to expect and importantly, when to expect it.

i heard its a 4.2 twin turbo.

 

I believe the future engines from audi are going to be a little different and greener. The n/a engines are 3.2 v6, 4.2 v8, 5.2 v10 and the forced induction engines are 3.0, 4.0 tt, and 5.0 tt. So if we believe it's the 4.2 tt, then it's probably the 4.0 tt. I could be totally wrong.
