Default 034 Motorsports K04 inlets question

Installing my K04s as we speak (01.5 S4 6spd) and my passenger side upper of the 2 inlets is way far away from it's bolt hole. Is this common and what is the fix or did I just make a silly mistake and lined it up wrong? Everything is loose fit to try to line it up. The bolt for the lower inlet lines up with the bracket though.

No, that can't be right. Something is in the wrong spot or clocked wrong. That pipe should hug the top of the valve cover.

well no good, I can't figure out what's wrong. The lower inlets to the turbo have to be on the correct side because of the metal air line welded on must be on the outside. The upper inlets are on the right side because I compared them to the originals and that small bracket welded on is going the same direction (the bracket that bolts the upper to the valve cover). Here are a few more pictures. Is there any way the tubes could have been built incorrectly?

Here the lower must be in right because of the metal airline and it's bolted in to the bracket on the head right?

Here is the lower inlet bolted in showing the angle it lets out at

Here shows the upper bolted in and the lower placed sort of where it goes to show how off it is.

And then finally the driver's side showing that it's off about 1-1.5 inches from the bolt hole.

any other suggestions? I emailed JHM (where I bought everything) but I haven't received an answer back.

I think they are just fabricated poorly, unfortunately...
When I bought mine from ECS a year and a half ago and they had Audi factory labels and fit like a glove. I never ran into any probs.
Demand a refund and email them those pics!

I feel so silly, it was such an easy fix that took forever to figure out. Here's the 2 pipes before...

and here's after...

All I had to do was bend the tab welded on the lower inlet... It was bent a little during shipping. So now I have this

Everything bolted in 99% (have to check all camps and hoses still) and I'm on my way to reinstalling. One step close to a K04 car!
