Does anyone have any insight into the difference in performance of an '04 S4 sedan vs. wagon. Car reviews usually review the sedan (which generally read well). Wondering what performance compromise there is to the wagon?</P>


Also, as I am rounding into family mode w/i two months, I need to buy a wagon. Any views to other makes that are comparable to the S4 wagon?</P>

i haven't seen any reviews specific to the Avant, but consider this: Audi used their Avant version for the RS4 (and though its not an S4-derivative, they also chose their Avant for the RS2). i seriously doubt that the Avant gives up that much to the sedan.
