I'm a new member and own a 04 s4 blue with maching colored seats. HAve exhuast, tein ss coilovers, and B@M short shifter. Want more power and to make the car look one of a kind any ideas.

Err... yeah not much else you can do for now. Custom straight pipping with low restrictive mufflers? Would sound badass.

I wonder if aftermarket RS4 4.2 liter parts will be available to upgrade onto the 340 hp version anytime soon.

 

If u goning to use the RS4 engine parts and re build a motor - just buy a RS4 (demo) will be cheaper, less f*****g round and have got everything like RNS-E etc

I've always had this vision about using the turbos from an RS6 and configuring a rear mounted setup, where the turbos are in the back of the car near the mufflers.

 

I've always wonted to fit the RS6 (4B) motor or turbos to the B6 S4?

Your turbo setup Mott wouldnt have enough exhaust gas pressuer to run the turbines on the turbos and could u emagine the pipe work and plumbin needed to get the boosted air back to the front of the car? Mite just have a little prob with throttle response there

Hay does any one know how much of a diff there is dimensoin wise & wheelbase in the chasis of the A6's (4B) to the A4's (B6/7)?

 

Do you think they will aventually come out with some good performance parts for the b6/7 s4? I mean right now you can make a b5 s4 way faster.

 

Meh yeah it might not be possible, but I've seen it done before successfully on other cars, got me curious.

 

Just got my S4 and love it.

The only things I've seen are chip, intake, exhaust.

GIAC chip frow AWE dyno at +14 (wheels)
Exhaust from AWE dyno +18 (wheels)
Intake from stratmosphere dyno +10 (wheels)

For those with any of these products, any opinions?

I'm looking for some ideas, just not ready for a $21k kit yet
