My friend has a Audi S4 tip. 06 I have a 2000 S4 6Speed if I raced him would I be able to win or is there some parts that I should put in before I do the race?

 

250hp vs 344hp.. do the math..

 

yeah...a few parts.. like a whole K04 swap w/ injectors, programming etc. etc. [:-]

 

In my experience a Stage 2+ B5 S4 will take a B6/B7 S4.

Mystro, I have mine chipped and dv's and I have no problem getting a half car length on my buddies 04 s4. Just because the new s4's have that big v8 doesnt meen there quicker and faster. A $1000.00 can get you to be a little quicker/faster.

 

The new 04+ s4 with Tip weighs in at 3,925lbs... that' s heavier than my a6 by 100lbs...

 

I convincingly pulled on 2 different B6 (sedan) S4s with my 01 Avant when it was St 2 (APR chip) - the first on several high speed runs - we were both rather surprised but he could not hang - I easily took him by several lengths and the second one was from a stop where I walked him rather easily. Of course now it wouldn't even be remotely close (w/ST III) - unless maybee on a very hot & humid day...even then.... I imagine I would give the new RS4 a serious run for the money (and likely beat him - certainly in a straight line...and with my new KWs and Hsports I feel I'd even have a fair chance in the twisties...he'd have to be an awfly ballsy driver - thats all i will say....

 

roadhawk... have no fear sir..in a straight line we can take the rs4... track..youd need some work... as well as we lack the awe inspiring asthetics and luxiries that the RS4 has..
