115K Mi Problems
Hi all. I currently have an a4 and I am looking at an S4 to buy. The S4 I am looking to purchase has 115K miles on it and I wanted to get some feedback on the problems at this mileage and down the road. The turbos and MAF have been replaced. The timing belt service has also been done. I will plan on replacing the tie rod ends and the axles when I get it. My question is: what other issues should I be concerned with and what type of failures occur at this mileage. I have never bought a car with this many miles and I am a little concerned with what I may be getting into. I can wrench no problem so that is not an issue. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

well the timing belt has been done so theres $1000 saved. The turbos i assume are good too since they have been replaced. Are the k03's of k04's? How about the clutch? Does the pedal seem loose at all?
I bought my 2000 with 84k miles on it. Since then I've had to do to the Timing belt, TBB, Headlight Ballast, brakes/rotors/1 caliper. I also have a new clutch coming and a set of rear wheel bearings sitting on my desk. I have 106k miles now.
I'm pretty sure I'd do it all again though.
