I don't get to do it too often but today I let her rip on the San Mateo bridge. Got it up to 140 and it was still pulling pretty hard. Sorry for the bad pic but it's hard to keep the iPhone steady at that speed!

Had my S4 to 100 a few times passing slow cars on the highway. Never tried to top it out. I used to love going fast, but now it's not worth going to jail if you get stopped (if you do stop LOL). Being in the military, I can get in a lot of trouble with my commander if I get arrested. Not worth jeopardizing my career.

I was under the impression B5's got to 155 before the limiter kicked in? Iv gone past that... havent topped it out though...

 

Nice yessss4! I was able to hit the 160 mark in the Salt Flats... probably the first and last time. Car handled and felt like a champ just a little shaken up when a cop passed going the other direction when I slowed down! I was surprised it went over 155 since I thought they were limited there?!? I wont be surprised if the 4.2 hit 180

 

hmm...I wonder if the gear ratios differ from b5 to b7? Got my stock b5 to 160. It stopped pulling hard at 140 then slowly creeped up to 160 over a couple miles. From what I understand 6th tops out @ 196 so the ratio states, but I find that hard to believe.

 

the limiting factor is aerodynamics.

 

i got my b5 to 120 the day i bought it.... but havent had it on the highway for a high speed run since.. too much workin on it not enough driving..lol.

 

ive gotten mine up to 153 on the Nj Turnpike at like 11:00 Pm. Thank god there were no COPS!!! i got a steady pic at 140 (well my gf took it)
