hi guys
i emailed this guy that wants 7500 for a 2000 s4, its red and he sais the turbos are bad and making noise they do not make boost, do you think its the actual turbos? thats too expensive for me but i thought maybe it could be a cheap fix(i doubt it) i asked if all the recommended maintnances have been done heres the email he sent me.

Engine runs fine.. no turbo boost... turbo are making noise they should be replace...call for more information..

where is the car located?

 

If everything else is pristine and I had the $ for stage 3....I would contemplate it.

 

yeah i would not by that. that sounds like a money pit and someone who can wrench and has money should by that and stage 3+ it.

 

the k03's arent bad. they are reliable just not if you start upgrading. I mean also it all depends how you take care of them. Getting to boost when cold, short trips, not letting the car sit for 2 mins after driving it hard...etc...

 

if everything else is lookin a good, i would jump on that

 

take it to an audi dealership and get it checked, see if they will pay for it or split it with you, should run about 180 to look over the whole car.

 

not to thread jack but what is entire b5 s4 engine worth these days cant be to much ??

 

2500 - 3500 there are some over and under that but that is about the average.
