personally i don't think there's room to make the exhaust you're talking about on the 2000 model. but that's just me, i could be wrong

Probably could be done as a split y at the rear. True duals would have to be done with smaller pipes til the end a y off. Would probably look nice with a reiger rs-4 rear apron and the tips coming through the openings 360 Modena style..... now you've got me thinking.

Autospeed makes a true dual exhaust in the sense that it is two seperate pipes all the way back. But they both still exit in the stock location. I don't think it would be easy to have two pipes with one exiting on each side of the car.... just because of the placement of the spare tire well, stock muffler location and how things are arranged under the car....but that doesn't mean it can't be done. Just probably not much benefit to it.

i feel like if you are able to do it, it might jeoperdize some of your performance. mainly because it's not made fot it. but i could be mistaken.. i just don't think it's worth the time. get a custom exhaust! best way to go but expensive

Autospeed makes a true duel exhaust. But it's still a single outlet duel tip.

There is room under the bumper for another muffler. After you cut & fixed the bumper, just about any shop should be able to fab up a 2 muffler system.

it is from the looks of it. you'd have to do some customizing for sure if you wanted to. but i don't think it's worth it personally...

Thanks for all the input guys.. I did look under the car.. there is very little room under the passenger side. I just think it would look very stylish to have the exhaust on both sides in the back, plus very unique for the 2000 model. My previous car was a 98 contour svt. The way the exhaust was set up on it was just a borla muffler about in the center ( where the resonator is) then just pipes comming out of the back.. its sounded amazing. I was thinking of somthing similar.. single muffler in the center of the exhaust and then trying to figure out how to get the piping to the passenger side.. no muffler on the end of the exhaust but just the piping wich would make it a little easier for the roon issue on the passenger side.. I will have to get under the car again and start looking after all this damn rain stops.. gotta love "SUNNY" florida lol
hopefully soon I may have an idea or have it done :O)
any ideas please hit me up
