Default 2000 s4 needs your help

sup everyone i just picked this s4 up and i already found and fixed a vac leak. every now and when i pop the hood i hear this real fast clicking sound right behind the last injector on the passenger side by the fire wall? got any ideas? i also got a couple oil leaks but im gunna fix those soon from everything i hear thay ARE KNOWN FOR THAT CRAP lol

maybe a solenoid or something.. N75 valve .. idk...get a stethoscope and listen...or put up a video on here.

i also found a small amount of oily crapy in my intake y pipe the one that sits on top. whats that from?

your pcv system hooks up right there towards the back of the engine, right there close to the front of your y-intake pipe. i wouldnt worry about it.. its normal.

from where you describe the sound it could be coming from the timing chain. That region if you look houses the timing chain tensioner, which in higher mileage cars tends to click. My driver side tensioner does the same thing. Sounds like you bought a decent s4. Welcome to the club, prepare to hate you life

iv been hearing this high pitch whistle sound coming from the back of the motor i dont think its the turbos. got any ideas? also im getting ready to do some major gasket repairs i found this website that told me the 4 most common oil leaks i know i got at least 3 outta 4 lol the valve covers and or cam shaft seals and plug and chain tensioner so what i want to know is what else i should replace or look at y im down in the motor that far?
