Default 2000 S4 oil leak

In the next day or so I wll be tearing down my 2000 S4. Since shortly after i bought it(late july 2010), i have noticed a burnt oil odor when i get out of the car. This past weekend I looked under it and noticed that there is a slight leak from somewhere that is splashing oil onto the left side pipe that runs from the turbo to the intercooler. it doesnt appear to be a major leak, however just enough to have the smell of burnt oil when i get out of the car. doesnt take much!

My question is, does anyone have any idea what it could be. maybe someone has had the same or similar problem, or knows a troubled location. again its on the left side between the turbo and intercooler. car has 102K on it with the water pump and timing belt done a few years ago. car is clean as a whistle other than this.

my other question is that i have done a timing belt in a 98 A4 2.8 quattro before. so i have had the front bumper and radiator supports off these cars. is there any secrets i should know about the intercooler and turbo lines, i assume they are too fastened to the rad support. or anything else i should know about when tearing the bumper and possibly the radiator support off.

the car is due for a haldex cluth oil and filter change. is this something easier to do with the car tore down, or doesnt it really matter? also, where exactly would this take place, what exactly do i need(tools and materials). any advice on this would be great because i am clueless about this one.

also, the P1131 sensor has just recently started coming on. cleared the code the other week and it just came on yesterday. i see that it seems to be a pain to do as it is located pretty much between the firewall and the engine. any advice on this would be cool. not sure i will be doing them anytime soon.

sorry for the long post. i'm just unfamiliar with the car and dont want to waste time and money. I hope i get some assistance. please be specific with which question you are answering. i have seen some answeres on forums before that are kind of random and need some clarification. which i would like to avoid. thanks for the help!

another question that shouldnt be too hard to answer. trying to take the bumper off the car. i removed the headlights, the main two vertical bolts that bolt the bumper to the frame bracket and also the two screws that hold the wheel well to the bumper. i feel like i am missing something simple and cant seem to find what it is. it appears that there are tabs that secure the bumper to the fender. however they dont seem to actually fasten anything. i cant seem to finish getting the bumper off the car. i did it a few years back to a beat up A4, but i also had a hanes manual that led me step through step. i know there are a few wire plugs to unhook and the headlight wipers. but i cant seem to get it that far. Cosmetic stuff is not my line of expertise, mainly because stuff always breaks. i just dont want to break anything on this car. please help!

I think there are some small nuts that connect the front bumper to the car that are WAY up inside the wheel well. If you take out the fender liner and look towards the front of the car you should be able to see two or three small bolts. Once those come off you have to pull the bumper off the bumper support rail things on the side. Go on audidiy.com and find a timing belt DIY. They have instructions to get the front end off.

As far as the oil leak, could be any number of things but I'm inclined to wonder if its the oil feed lines, I would check those. Other than that common oil leak points are the cam tensioner seals, valve cover gaskets, and intercooler piping that collects oil over time and seep out if a clamp is loose.

ya.. do them all at once. seriously.. i no joke. valve cover gaskets. cam adjuster seals. check camshaft seals. check crank and rear main seals. half moon seals and all.. all of these things will BLEED oil at sometime while you own the car, unless you get rid of it now..
