2001.5 Imola Yellow S4 B5 Sport Package
A local dealership has one of these bad boys in mint condition. It has normal wear and tear on the front bumper, and interior but everthing seems to be in working condition. A clean car fax, and has 45k miles. How much should I be paying for one of these? I took it for a test drive and it was sound. The car is listed for 22.9...
Kelley Blue-Book: $20,095
Nada Used Car Guide: $16,275
Edmunds Used Car Appraisal: $14,851
What is the absolute max I should pay for this car? The KBB seems awfully high considering what other S4's have been going at: 15.5-17.5
I know the car is a little rare, but is it worth? Basically what I am asking is w/o getting shisted, how much should I put as my absolute highest price to buy?

I'm keeping my eye on it. The thing is they know it's rare and they know it is a 2001.5 with a sport package. I wasn't looking for a yellow one, but if the price is right, I'll buy it. Maybe paint it way later after I do bodywork, but thats after engine work...
Thats fantastic; I'm glad someone said 18K MAX! I was thinking going in with a 16grand bank check and negotiating about 2 grand worth, and 18.5K out the door including tax, registration, inspection, etc. I just needed someone to say it, now I feel more confident in my decision...
