honestly.. stick all the way!!! i think every car should be a stick.. maybe trucks could be auto's.. but esp. sports cars. being in traffic sucks a little bit, but it aint all that bad. its more than worth it.

Stick is better fro performance and control and is the only way for me - but if you don't drive one it may not be the way to go for you. It is a good skill to learn though - and I get much more driving satisfaction from driving a stick. It rarely is an issue for me - even in heavy bumper to bumper traffic...in fact I am often more irritated with having to apply the brakes all the time in an auto (I have one as well) when I can control my speed better & easier with a stick...even at a crawl.

go for stick, You will like it so much better. Believe me i'v been in hours of traffic and it sucks but hey you will get over it. I never drove stick till i bought my car, so its really not that hard. Haha sook, thats so funny i say that about cars all the time and my brothers like ur the only idiot in the world that thinks like that. but there is other people out there lol

Manual is definitely more fun, and so are tiptronics.
If you haven't driven manuals before and/or worry about the sucky traffic jams. Stick with Tip. Can't go wrong with either.

I live in Seattle also. My S4 is a TIP. There a lot easier to find.
If you are going to track the car, go 6-speed. If you just want a driver, get the TIP. It's really nice driving around Seattle with it!
I like it much more then my other car that's a 5-speed.

There really is not much performance difference between the 2.
