Hi all, I just bought an '01 S4, and the side power mirrors don't work. The car is still under warranty, that's why I bought it with busted mirrors, but can anyone suggest a quick DIY fix? Basically, the **** to adjust the mirror doesn't do anything to the mirrors. Thanks in advance for the help!

 

So get them fixed under warranty!!

Yeah, I'm taking it in tomorrow. I was hoping for a quick fix that I can do myself like cleaning some eletrical contacts so that I wouldn't have to take time off work to drive it in.

 

It'll be a simple R&R. No need for quick fix.
