2004 S4-Do automatics HAVE to have either the buttons or paddles, or can they have neither?
I'm looking to pick up a 2004 S4, but I can't seem to get a straight answer about the paddles. On some of the automatic S4's, I see tiptronic buttons on the front of the wheel. On others, I don't see any buttons. Does that mean the car has paddles behind the wheel, or could it possibly have neither buttons nor paddles?
Does anyone have a shot of the paddles on a 2004 S4? Thanks, I tried a search and couldn't find an answer on this board or on the net.

The B5's have the buttons, the B6 have the paddles.
If there are other buttons on the steering wheel it's for the radio & such, but I'm not 100% sure the B6 came with them.

My friend has the B6 with 4-spoke steering wheel, and it does not have the paddles (it does have the radio buttons). I've seen B6's on Autotrader with 3-spoke steering wheels, no buttons (radio or shift), but they do have paddles.
My question is, do all 3-spoke wheels have the paddles, or do some not? Do any of the 4-spoke steering wheels have paddles?
