In 2004, did only the 4 spoke steering wheel have controls in it? I've seen some 3 spoke ones, but they don't appear to have any controls like the 2006's do.

Yes, im pretty sure bout the US
Im in Aust and i will post pics when i get back of the B6 S4 wheel + buttons
From memory it was an option here if u had RNS-D or RNS-E and/or Audi fone kit

My wheel(B5) is from the same year A6 with the same options as was ordered by previous owner-u wont see the same wheel in any US delivered B5 S4's
My B6 -S4 has the same wheel as above, ive lost the USB cable for the camera so cant load, sorri
The buttons are for the radio and phone but u can get the same wheel without the phone buttons. Cant member what they changed them to?

I think if u r going to do the conversion it wont be cheap considering u gotta get the bag + radio connections? as well, and thats one reason i bought this S4: i cant live without the buttons on the wheel!
