Over the past six months I have noticed a steady decline in the engine performance of my s4. I think it may be a compression problem but have not put the car through any diagnostic tests.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

geez are exhausts sposed to blow hot air out??? what would make it hot ???no waythere would bean engine on the other end?????would there????

for starters check some basics... look at the air filter, check the spark plugs.... how many miles on the car??? find a compression tester.... i don't really think your loosing compression.... i'm assuming you don't have more than 60k on this newish car......
