I've just bought a 2005 Audi S4 cabriolet and I'm loving it! I have a simple question, I want to add an iPod adapter but I'm not sure if I have a B6 or B7 model? I know the sedan changed in 2005.5 from a B6 to a B7 but did the cabriolet? I know the styling changed in 2007.

Anyone put this in their 2005 S4 cabriolet?

yes you can hook-up an ipod to your stereo. i have 2006 s4 cabrio (b6).

i did it thru the audi dealer for abt $200. my ipod connector is hidden in the glove box. i'm sure you could get it done a lot cheaper, or even do it yourself.

i also put in a audi navigation system at a later date. i'm pretty sure you probably don't have one? either way i think you'll have to put-up with the following issue; the interface between the ipod and the nav system/stereo is poor; when playing the ipod thru the nav system it will only list the track #, not the song info (ie title, atist, etc.) like the ipod does or as pretty much any other car manufacturer does when an ipod is connected. i'm sure audi has fixed that problem since. all other aspects work like the steering wheel radio function buttons, in-dash buttons, etc.
