2007 S6 or...
Hello all,
Am I gald I found this place....here is the deal...I was getting ready and excited to get me an A6 4.2 with all the trimmings. Then I began to here about the 2007 S6 due out this fall. When I was at the dealer I test drove the S4 and loved it, but after being in a 02 Jetta 1.8T for the last 4 years I really want to expand a little. I am not a big guy, I just thought I would be nice to have a bit of room for awhile. Question to Audi Experts: Is the early word on the S6 good? Is it going to be all that? I really love performance but I just want a bigger car for awhile and @ $75K the S6 cleans me out....but I would spend it gladly for a real performance sedan..
Any thing I need to consider? Other cars?
Thanks, John

gas, that's the worst thing. then, winter and summer tires. i don't know what you used on the jetta, but S cars need summer and winter tires; nothing in between. and when the warranty does run out you should bank on paying 1000 for what seems the most trivial fixes (think about it, the lights aren't only bixenon, but adaptive. a light housing is about the size of a size 15 shoe box and all components are inclusive). if you can handle that, and the insurance is okay for you and gas prices don't phase you, then hell yes go for the gusto! think of that S4 and you should understand some of the handling capabilities, but remember the larger engine with over 100hp more.
cheese, i like what your saying but disagree a bit. you dont NEED both winter and summer tires. Its a nice bonus and maximizes your fun.. but you can get by on all seasons easily. This coming from both myself and a friend from minnesota. not to mention, he may not even live in inclimate climate. Ill be the first to say.. the new s6 coming out is going to be bad ***. it looks sweet and has an awesome interior and the engine is awesome. youd be happy with either an s4 or s6. i wouldnt let your stature get you. im 6'3" and im in a b5s4 which is tighter than the b6 and b7 models and i have no room issues at all... (back seat is cramped if someone is behind me cause im lengthy.. but so are most cars for me.)
