$17k additional, or $17k total (i.e. $5k more on top of what you paid for the car).

ok so if your third car is gonna cost 12g's and you want that and 450 to the wheels in your b5 for even around 17g's, not going to happen. To get ne of our cars to do that it's about 8-9g's alone, you would be talking buying ko4's intercoolers, brakes, oil cooler, fuel, chip, just for starts.

Yep, audi ops is right, and unless you wrench the whole stage 3 upgrade by yourself, your lookin at around 21k at least for the whole setup (9k on top of what you paid)

I've already put $7500 into mine, not including the cost of the car ($10k for a 2001). I started off with a sound engine beforeinstalling everything else. Best part, I'm not touching the engine. Yes I expect to put down at least $15k before its done. If you want the horsepower, you'll have to pay...Audi's aren't cheap.

GTO's are too heavy and they have IRS. My friend blew out 2 rearends in them. GM 10 bolts suck behind manual transmissions. However the GTO has a nice interior for an american car.

I'd still get an S4 and if you can do some work yourself you can save a lot of money in labor.
