upgrade time!?!!?
Well ive been doing some research on DV's and Bi-pipe vs. samco hose kit w/ tbb and f pipe. After doing the research i have decided to go with the APR r1 dv's due to the fact they are no maint. and to try something different! I want to try to takle my TBB, im no mechanic so im not gonna be able to do a thorough check on it. I am debating the APR bi-pipe OR samco hose kit plus F-pipe and TBB. I really want to tackle as many "boost" realted items.
What i have noticed:
APR bi-pipe:
-Totally eliminatesany worries about TBB
- Doesnt cover the F pipe concern of my 00 S4
- $350
-Better if you plan to go K04 in the future (i do)
Samco Hose Kit(s)
-TBB and F pipe not included but available
- More popular for people with stage II
-$399 plus $150 for clamps TBB and F-pipe
Any corrections or suggestions would be appreciated
And has anyone hear tried the APR r1's i searched here and didnt get anything. Searched AZ and alot of people complained of a "howling" sound.. as a group they contacted APR and got a resolution!

i think you should do the apr bi pipe and the samco hose kit just you dont need the tbb from samco but you mine as well buy the kit and then sell the tbb on the forums...the apr bi pipe is a permanent fix to a popular problem....
i was thinking about that too.. this sounds dumb but even after searching forums and looking at the actual parts on dif sites, i wasnt really sure what the samco kit was replacing until this week.. im a lil slow!!! Thanks for the help... i think im gonna do the bi-pipe w/ the samco kit plus the f pipe minus the TBB!!! Have you heard anything about the r1 dv's AZ has some info but i dont see many people running them here?
