so i just passed 85K on the odometer, and everytime i turn the car on it says "service" anyone know waht tune ups need to be done? may be a stupid question but i appreciate any answers! thanks a lot.

 

Probably the timing belt and all the tensioners and seals. make sure you check your sensors. the key to a good running car is basic maintainence so keep up with it. all read the faq's at the top of the page!

 

thanks a lot, thats what i figured, although i already had the belts changed, so it must be just seals and stuff like that. thanks.

 

Also just to let you know if you already didn't andif you are in the basic maintainence mode at that mileage which is about the same as mine; a good thing to do is drain and replace with new some fluids in your car other than the oil.....so just look into that too

 

It's telling you it's time to change the oil. Read your owners manual, it's all in there.

 

Service light is just a timer for oil intervals. a general inspection of the car is also recommended.
