Im about to buy a German spec 95 S6 4.2L for 2000Euro. The car only has 160k kilometers and also has been sitting for a year or so in the guys barn.

Now I have looked for other S6s in the online car shopping places and the cheapest S6 is 3000 euros and has 320k kilometers and the little 2.2 liter.

So I was wondering if I can shop US parts for this german spec audi or not. I know alot of cars they have here are different and you cant do this but is it possible with this car? Anyone know or have any words of wisdom before I purchase it?

Trying to find out if they are the same. Waterpump, timing belt, transmition. Can I buy all these parts from the US or do I have to get they from Germany because its a different car.

For example I drive an old escort wagon atm but the engine in this car they didnt even release in the US so all the parts I buy have to be from Germany. Id rather stay away from paying euro being it is so strong over the dollar and I get paid dollars.
