i was wondering who makes the best aftermarket shifter for a 2000 b5 s4

JHM looks like a very good shifter, it is the one i am buying, but dont pass up other options. Alot of it is personal feel, if you drive someone elses car and it has a shifter that you REALLY like maybe you shoudl look at that company. If you search there is quite a bit on shirt shifters, it comes up often.

I have a question for people who do have short shifters, how many of you have the shifter height choped down as well as the normal reduction?

i was thinking about ordering this same shifter.... after you recieve. i could use some feed back of the ease of installation and overall feeling about the use of it. Is it still a relatively smooth shift like stock, just shorter, or is it a very hard shift? thanks

 

Maybe Jay can come on and give some info on that. Mine wont be in my car for a few more weeks. I just wanted to get the money out of my account so i didnt spend it on stupid college things like beer and trees. When i get it in ill try to remember to shoot you a PM and let you know what i think. Allthough im getting a DTS and Snub mount at the same time so that ight make it feel a little different too haha.
