Default All season tires?

Wondering if anyone has had experience with some performance all season tires on their S4. So far the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS's look to be a really nice tire, with good dry performance and still hold up in the snow as well. I'm going to be living in Boulder CO for school this fall and don't want to mess around with switching out tires, since I wont have all the right stuff out there.

Heres a link to the Potenzas:http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....P&i1_Qty=4

I have been wondering about this also, Right now I am leaning toward having 2 sets of tires. I live in the Northeast and my plan is to drive my 07 S4 Cab year round. I like the idea of very good high performance for most of the year and then slapping on some dedicated Blizzacs (They make a nice Winter performance tire). My understanding is one tire will never be Ideal for all seasons since Winter tires are made differently with a harder rubber. Also I think I might be better off with 17 inch in the winter to give me more rubber than my 18's

I have potenza's on my S4 right now, and they seem to be great in mild winter weather and nice in the summer. They are about worn out, so I am about to put some Pirelli PZero Nero M+S (all season) tires on there, so I will see how they work...

I would but with college it'll be hard to carry around my spare set and I won't be able to do it myself

How far from home do you live away..could you store them at your parents place and just go get it changed out when the season requires it?

Two sets is not a bad idea especially if you'll be heading up to the mountains to go skiing a lot. If not, I'd recommend one set....Boulder is too sunny in the winter....you won't have that much winter driving to do around town. I'm in Denver, I'm running Yokahama Avids. Like any M&S they're OK in bothsummer/winter not great in either. The bigger the grooves the better in the snow and the worse on dry....

I talked to a local tire place who I would buy my winter tires from and they will store them for $75 a year. This makes it much easier with no lugging them back an forth

I have 2 sets for my suburban, but I live in Tahoe right now... so its an easy 2 day drive home but in the S4 I could make it one day. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback about the new Potenza's (RE960AS), think I might just go with those. I've driven in the snow my entire life and I think the 1 pair should be fine for a least one season. Even though Dever got hammered this year, Boulder didnt seem to get much snow at all... dont think it will compare to Tahoe winters.
