Thanks for the replies. I definately need to learn how to wrench. Looking at an engine for me is like looking at the Japanese alphabet. I want to take a class at a community college or something but I travel so much with work. If anyone in the Denver area wants to help out I will totally pay in beer!

Readimag, ATF is real expensive stuff. I think we charge around 300 to flush it.

Vag to get it to operating temp.

It all adds up when you have someone do it. Time is money.

I knew nothing about cars until I took one apart....start with something called a book it helps....n as to the money thing I have over 15k invested in a mustang right now soI know that feeling...audi luxury costs tho but the looks you get driving it are worth every penny
