01 S4 StgII. So I'm going down the highway and all the bells and whistles start going off. Battery symbol pops up in the display, I look at the voltage guage and it is pegged at 16v going back and forth. Get it home just before the car dies. I'm thinking voltage regulator so I order a rebuilt alternator(bosch) and replace it(what fun by the way) but now the guage reads a steady 14v and the little battery symbol in the speedo flashes from time to time. I saw the headlights pulsating a little bit while driving as well. Voltage seems to high but Ican't for the life of me remember what it used to rest at. Bad battery, bad rebuilt alternator, any suggestions?
