I was replacing my abs module and when I removed the driver side fender well I noticed three cut-out holes which look like they should have some type of bolt / bushing..





Now I'm fairly new to this car and I don't know if there's something missing or not, I just noticed it and was wondering if someone could tell me.

 

thats for the cradle adjustment when performing an alignment and camber/caster is out.... get your readings on the rack, loosen up some bolts that hold the cradle in, then you have a special tool that goes in those holes and a few other holes on the audi and you can adjust it..

 

Ohh alright, thanks a lot! Every where I look on this car something is either broken or missing, it's like the guy that I bought it from (2 weeks ago) broke one piece in every single area of this car and now I'm playing a scavenger hunt trying to get it all back together. Thanks, that's one less thing I need to worry about.
