hey guys, I could use some opinions on the AMD upgrades for the V8 S4 (2004). http://www.amdtechnikusa.com/s4.asp Is the stage 3 really worth 4k, how does AMD compare with others (APR...), and should I wait for more stuff to hit the market for the B6 and hopefully lower prices? thanks in advance!

It looks like if you are going to stick with a N/A setup, that is a good HP per dollar setup. You get an additional 71 HP to the crank, which means about 55 or so HP to the wheels. Not bad. My suggestion would be to use their chip, but with a cheaper exhaust.

 

yea, the chip seems like a pretty good deal. APR exhuast may be better/comparable for $2200 full system. are there any other manufactures I should be aware of?
