Audi S4 2001 100K Service tips?
Ive Just picked up a 2001 Audi S4 and I have it in the shop getting it ready for its second 100,000 kms and i was wondering what i should be fixing on top of the work i have plannedthat includes theClutch, Gearbox (& engine if req) Mounts, Timing belt,Water Pump, sparkplugs, oil, filtersand belts?
Ive read about the bypass valve and throttle body pipes but these seem fine.
Oh, and as an aside the car has an MTM sign on the back so im wondering is this a body kit and rims or have they been playing under the hood and how would i tell??

Usually S4's badged wi9th MTM have somehitng under the hood. When u bought the car did u aks or where u told it was stage 1,2,3+???? or anything liek that or did it have K04 turbos.
MY guess is it have a chip from MTM in it.
As for the bypass valves(diverters) and TBB. just look at the sticky at the top of the forum page and you should get all your 100K questions answered there.
Big thing to look at around that milage is bront suspension and drivetrain parts, Control arms, CV boots all of them and Tie Rod Ends.
But yea read the sticky and get answrers then ask anything you dont understand.

Thanks mate, had a good look through the forums for gotya's before i posted but was just wondering if there was any specific checks to perform on items to check if they were surviving alright. Anyway, the cars up and stripped now so im looking to see whats been mod'd on it. Yeah, love the towing hitch also - at least it will stop numpties running into the back at the lights!

I'm actually interested in putting on a tow hitch (mainly soI can attach a swing away bike rack that will allow me access to the hatch/trunk area)...anyone have any info?
Pooh - I would check the integrtity of your suspension components (like TKneedsS4 said) - if they haven't been replaced by now they are sure to be near worn out. I would also recommend coilovers and swaybar upgrade...
