Default AWE Twin 1 vs ASP 89mm

I'm stuck betweenthe Twin 1 and the ASP catback 89mm. Anybody have any input from personal experience that would sway me either way. I want my exhaust to be louder than stock but I also drive 45 minutes on the highway to work every day so I don't want itto be annoying.I'm afraid the AWE might be too loud but I'm not really sure. Any suggestions...

I read on the Awe site that they use 2.25 diameter pipes to keep the exhaust gas temps up... does this mean that the ASP exhaust won't flow as good because they use wider pipes?

For anyone that has AWE.... because its a louder exhausthas anythingstarted torattle in your car because of it?

Whichever I decide to get I'm going to be getting the downpipes to go with them. So keep that in mind when suggesting anything.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Bob

I don't think either would be annoying to drive on a trip. If you had an avant I would say stay away from the AWE (twin 1) because they tend drone in avants..

I like the sound of AWE twin1, but I personally like the 89mm tips of the ASP.

I've heard both...the ASP is rather quiet around town.

On the highway you won't even hear the twin 1 under low throttle, it sounds almost the same as stock. But in the city the twin 1 is hard to keep quiet

What causes it to drone more in avants?

Does anyone know if the awe exhaust being 2.25 diameter makes the car perform better or not?

From what I'm hearing in videos the AWE Twin 1 seems really really loud compared to the ASP which seems inbetween Twin 1 and stock... but videos are hard to go by.

Anyone else have any suggestions or comments?

The twin 1 does sound loud in the vids on their webpage, but listen to the twin 2 as well. The twin 2 in person sounds almost stock. But I have heard if you get downpipes with the twin 1 then it's pretty real loud.

My Twin 1s just purr along on the highway (no drone at all - very stock sounding) - its on WOT or at least with heavy accel that they come to life...at times I think they are too quiet...but yes - I would say they sound good.
