What are the cheapest downpipes you can get for a b5 s4? I really dig the APR set up, but not sure I want to spend that much (I know there is a LOT more expensive ones out there) so does anyopne make a kit with NO cats at all to keep cost down a little bit?

Do you really wanna go cheap on parts that take 7 hours to install?

 

I recently had the tranny out and had to take the downpipes and exhaust off. I'm not to sure thats a 7 hour install. If it was time must have been flying, then again I was having fun and "time fly's when your having fun!"

 

it's going to be hard finding a downpipe for cheap. the cheapest you can get are piggie downpipes, but i feel that those are just a temporary set up. piggie pipes are not going to give you the performance you're going to need if your going to have a ko4 upgrade. let us know if you decide to go with the apr or not.

 

well today I got into my car and drove to work (after racing a little bit yesterday) and my turbo's were being quite a bit louder than normal. like really really loud and it has me worried, and I am thinking the cash I have been saving for DP's might have to go to new turbo's. has this happend to any of you?

 

that has never happened to me but do you have the stock ko3 turbos in it? or have you already upgraded to ko4's?
