Take a 2000-02 s4 with a apr chip or one of those that brings it to almost 320hp and take a bone stock 2004-06 s4. Who is going to win? I mean the b5 is much lighter being a six cylinder and the body style and having turbos to pull it along strong. Im just not sure who would win.

6 speed or tip? Anyway I think that they are very close...perhaps too even too call - a drivers race. That being said I dusted (several car lengths easy) every B6 (3) I ever went up against - from a stop, a roll and high speed when I was APR chipped and with only minor intake & exhaust mods. I always have felt that my S4 was faster then most though...and I can drive it to its full potential. What I am wondering now is how my new AWE/GIAC X stage 3 would do against either an older or brand new/upcomming RS4! (now that could be some race eh?)

The numbers in this "test" are definately off (i.e. the stock B6 does 0-60 in 6.3) but hopefully the driver was just really bad in all the cars and the numbers will at least show who's faster qualitatively

 

yah would be a drivers race, but at an exhaust with or without DP's and the b5 will win it.

 

yeah..... those numbers are prob pretty accurate..just about a second behind what they should be.... haha.. i guess i mean theyer consistently unaccurate.

My BMW suposedly is a 5.6 sec 0-60 - and I would comfortably say it does such (and its proven quicker then WRXs, G35s, TLs and a whole variety of cars in that range. For a fact my S4 Avant - when I had the APR chip and ran in stock mode - was quicker...

 

Well i dont know if it means anything being that im stage 3.. but i ran the quarter dead even with a c5 vette z06.. and my 0-60 was obviously quicker as he wasnt catching me till the end... so thatd put me in the low 4's... but i cant say im THAT much quicker than a stage 2+
