im getting a custom exhaust built for my 2000 s4 and im wondering what is the biggest/best size for our cars? the guy bending it for me said that he thinks the biggest i can go is a 2.5in dual to a 3in single. however ive seen cars on youtube who claim to have 3.5in dual and even a 4in exhaust. im just wondering if there is a size that is just too big. im planning on going 3.0L tial 770s with this car im buying everything peice by peice, so i dont want to have to pay for another custom exhaust in the future because it becomes a bottleneck, but i also dont want it to sound like a ricer honda with a fart can on the back. I THINK its 2.25in. Thats what I read.

 

with 770's go no smaller than 3in. 034 has a 3.5in thats amazing.
