Hi, can anyone tell me, what is the widest tyre you can go on a 18 inch rim? The car is a 99 S4 and has got Tien Coilovers. The reason I ask is that I have seen some people have got 18x9 rims with 265 x 35rubber and I thought the maximum was 235.

 

If you have 265 width you will need to roll your fenders for sure. 235 is about the maximum you want to go to avoid rubbing and rolling fenders.

 

nah you can get the 245 to work decent with minimal rubbin. but unless you got some sill HP. i would just stick to 235. 265 is quite exteme like said they have rolled fenders and probably have a huge offset and wheel spacers.
