doing the work yourself? much cheaper but a pain, have to get a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, pedal setup, linkage, blah blah, might be hard to find used ones so maybe buy oem, which isn't ever cheap

I still need to sell the car I have and buy the B5 S4. I was just curious how hard it was to do the swap so I could have a wider search base for the car its self. Then swap it from the auto to the manual. I think I'll just keep looking for the manuals though. I can buy one any wherein texas or washington state. And I'm looking to buy them from dealerships.

eh, the parts will fit, labor will be a bit of a bitch, finding parts will suck, the ecu will need to be changed, a lot of little things. just wait a little more and find a manual in my opinion, spend the extra money on something else
