Sorry if this is a repost. I have been on military deployment for the past 16months and its good to be back. I thought this was kinda cool to the the B6 S4 doing so well. This is like stage 2 B5 territory Nice. That time is faster then my 2.7T A6.

LOVE the sound of the N/A V8 Then the BMW kill was a nice touch

Car does sound pretty good.
I'm still disappointed in the 1/4 times though, even for a tip.
Nice ride regardless.

Thats faster then B5 stage 2 S4's 6 speeds. There are some stage 2+ cars that are faster but I would have to say the 107 is moving.

With a tip you are not going to get much off the line. I brake boosted mine hard to get where I got and that car is still faster then mine.

Im just happy to see a good MPH out of those cars. I think they should be in the 12's soon. If that's a tip car going 107 then a 6 speed should be able to get out of the hole better then that.

In the end that is a good start for the B6 guys. That is a strong showing compared to all the other times I have seen from the B6.

107 is a pretty fast speed for that car.
But but trap speeds are such a variable measurement that it's hard to totally judge 1/4 ET capabilities from them.

Traction and launch play a huge role in the mph on your timeslip. If you spin bad or just don't launch the car hard (like a TIP) it will have a higher trap mph..... doesnt sound like it makes sense but, the mph is a calculated number and not a true mph which is why some tracks your mph seems lower or higher beyond normal varations.
And though it's unusual, I've seen plenty of tracks that are way off the 66' to finish measurement, giving you a inaccurate trap but a perfectly normal ET.

You can optimize trap speeds by focusing on top end power but
most everyone focuses on ET so much that they'll even optimize a car for slower mph if it gets them a better ET like making great traction and adding lower and closer gearing.
Not that the latter is much of an option in our cars

I love my B6 S4. I wouldn't buy the car with a V6 TT even if it was available in my model year. I have had A LOT of turbo cars previously too (11 second 2G talon, Turbo GTI MK2, 1G Talon TSI etc etc) so it's not like I do not have any turbo experience, quite the opposite I would say. I raced my 2G talon for a lot of years and kicked a lot of *** in that car. I can 11's in 2004, back then that WAS a fast street car, well still is for the most part.

I just love the N/A power from the V8 in the B6. Mine is not modded and have no plans to really, it's just a daily beater when the 350z is in the garage...
