I just bought an '07 S8 with the Bang and Olufson stereo and it does not seem to have much bass. I used to have an '05 A8L with the Bose system and it seemed to have much more bass. So, here is my question: Does anybody here have experience with both systems in an A8/S8 -- and if so, can you tell me if you think perhaps my sub is not working or is the B&O system just light on bass?

You could crank up the bass and the volume and stick your head in the trunk. It should be obvious as to whether or not the bass speaker is working (of if there is one).
