Default Bigger Rims or Lowered

Just curious but what would look better with trying to less cost being ideal, new rims an inch bigger or just keep the stock ones and lower the car. I really want to get coilovers but there are alot of speed bumps around here and im worried about being too low and the previous owner of car scratched up the front two rims pretty bad which makes me want new rims. any help or opinions are greaty appreciated

I would go with rims, it wont affect your ride as much and rims look nicer.

Rims would make the car look alot nicer but at the same time it just feels like my car rides high. Money wise, which option would be more conventional?

If I were you, I'd go with lowering it. Not only that, if you get the right coilovers, it'll be a sportier ride too.

yea on second thought are you more interested in pizzaz or performance? that will tell which one to get. most coils will cost anywhere from ~$900-$1200 ish. rims can go from cheapo $400 to expensive $6k

The stock rims are nice! Trade me them for my black 18x8.5's?

Seriously it will still look good lowered on stock wheels and the car should behave a little better, less roll in corners.

you would be monster trucking it with 18" wheels and stock ride height.

Im definitely more concerned with performance but i still want to have a sexy ride. I myself really like the stock rims quite a bit and am more than happy with them. Any suggestions on some good coilovers that arent ultra expensive around the 800-1000 range?
