Default Black Stock Rims?

I was getting bored with fireworks wanted to see what my s4 would look like with black rims, which im probally gonna be getting black this week. Couldnt help myself and experimented with different car colors.

Now im no pro, there is a ton of mistakes, but you get the point.

Heres the rims.....




Now the 3 car color choices I would want:

black Avus wheels is a no no in my book. I prefer the oem finish. if you really want to go the black rim route, get after market wheels.

well...you could paint neighbor's fences for some cash to buy the aftermarket wheels.



























just messin' w/ ya...a member here named jasonmaguire is selling his black mesh rims (19" iirc) for a steal. check it out in the classifieds. Im broke too and unemployed, so i know how you feel. Ive been wanting some Gallardo or RS4 Repros too...

I think they look pretty good. I'm debating whether or not to paint my winter rims black. But then peeling is an issue if you use normal spray cans. Just make sure you clean them up really really good and then use degreaser or paint prep. Idk if they make adhesion spray for something like this or not.

Just my opinion but I don't think painted stock rims look very good. But if you're on a budget and you like the look, go for it. Don't make the mistake I did and buy cheap 2-pc rims; they bend way too easy and you end up replacing them several times.

Black wheels need some kind of lip..... otherwise the way the wheel and tire all blend together into the wheel well just looks like poo. Eevn more so on a black car
