Hey all, like it says I had a failure in the drivers side turbo on Saturday and today they diagnosed it and will have it replaced by Friday. Happily its being done under the Extended warranty that comes as part of the CPO. Now is it normal for them to replace only the blown turbo and not both banks at the same time? Any input on this would be great. I would think you would want to have equally worn turbos runnin together, to prevent added wear on the older turbo still spoolin in there. I may be way off though and thats why I'm askin here before I ask the service department.

Your audi service dept isn't going to replace both your turbos, yeah it be better is both were equally worn, but that would cost them more money since its under warranty. My guess is if you took it to them and your warrany was up then they would be telling you to buy 2 new turbos.
