BMW M3
I have an M/// 3,as a matter of fact I had them all from the first gen to the last the e30 and the e46 are my favorites, the one I have now is an e46 s2 dinan, the car is simply amazing, the sound and performance is just awesome,I never had a chance to run against an s4 so I cannot compare I did run against the new sti though several times, from a start I have to catch it but I can from a roll the sti has no shot my friend owns an 06 so we have plenty runs.I am new to the s4 I just got a b5 avant 6speed but I have not had the chance to drive it yet because it came from a fender bender so now I am working on it.the only thing I can tell you about the differences,(and I don`t mean to say anything bad about audi),but it seems build quality is not as good as of the bmw`s and the parts are outrageusly expensive compared to the other brand as well.I always wanted an s4 finally I got one,so I am not complaining this is what I wanted, and I know they are great cars in EU they sell for the same amount if not more than bimmers(used),here different story.
I am hoping to make the s4 close to as fast as the M/// if not faster,so once I am in that stage I sure will have a wrtie up on it.If any of you is in the vegas area and interested running a few times we can set it up let me know and we can have some fun.

Welcome Balu - and enjoy your S4 - you'll find it very different from an M3 (not as overtly sporty) but still great fun - there are just some things you can do with a grippy AWD that you cannot do with anything else.
Anyway - I have yet to lose to an M3 of any variation - thats chipped of course - but what can I say. I've been pulled on a bit a couple of times (amazing acceleration at some points in the power band seemingly) - but I've always pulled back hard and triumphed. I've only ran maybe 5-6 M3s - about half e36s - which in general are slower but seem to be more moddable - so some of these are quite quick. I've also taken STis BTW and EVOs - so far evey one I've ever launched against or run with. I think I know how to get alot out of my car though...oh and BTW - I take the car in for a stage 3 UG tommorow!

The last EVO I ran against was modded (but I don't know the particulars...exhuast certainly and likely a bit more - exterior was certainly totally redone and looked great - but unknown what engine mods...he wasn't much in a talking mood after) - We had 3 stoplight runs each to about 100 give or take and I pulled on him by less then a car lenght to 60 (about 1/2) and opened it up a bit after (to just over a car length. He was quite surprised to get beat by an old man in a station wagon! lol A neighbor who autocrosses hondas saw us going at it and we talked after and he thought he might have known the guy - he says he knows of a similar EVO putting out over 400hp...as I estimate I put out 320-330 with my chip-exhaust-intake- DV combo I find it unlikely that this was the same guy. Still you never know - I hit all my shifts right on and I think got everything possible out of the car. Can't wait till my stage 3 work is done...should increase my hp by about 100hp I figure...then i'll certainly take on a 400hp EVO.
So far I have destroyed every BMW, including M-3's and an M-5, I have come across. The 2006 Audi S-4 is truly a dream come true.
