Yeah I was thinking about RS4 as well. But I can make my boring black on black S-4 about as good as an RS-4 with a few well placed mods.

dvm,

Yeah, that is understandable. youre not going to find one with warranty, unless its extended. and then if youve got mods on it, it aint really going to hold up anyways.

too bad to hear you wanting the auto... haha... manual is just too fun. i hear what youre saying about the rs6... but if youd do that, you might as well go all out and go with the rs4. But keep in mind.. with some mods, you can spank the rs6... i would be pretty sure that i could take the rs6. but whatever you decide good luck

M3 sadly, road course, S4
Maybe the old S-4 gets beaten on a straight line, but not the B-7 S-4. Even the new Cadillacs smoke the M-3.

the only option that could turn me is an automatic hooker picker-uper button in those other cars.
haha what??
Comes as an added option on the B7 S4. $1800 I believe.

sorry man, im pretty sure a b7 wont take an m3 on the line... they run like a 5.2 ish 0-60. they have the same powre that an m3 has, but is much heavier than the M. I would agree with the cadillac statement, if your talking about the cts-v. those things are ridiculous

Well. I have smoked several M-3's off th eline. Maybe the drivers weren't that good. In all events, once my exhaust and cold air is done, I will be in the pole position all the time.

How do you figure they have the same power? The B-7 runs 340 BHP stock.

Not brake horsepower. it has 340 hp. The M has 333. virtually the same.

I dont doubt youll get the jump on an M on a dig. The quattro will grab while the M wont. but it should catch at a point not too far down... And those drivers were probably bad. . Id say after intake and exhaust youre probably even. But for sure, the sound of that v8 is amazing... just wait till you get an exhaust on that thing... its like poetry
